2012 667 Single Clone Pinot Noir

Jim Bernau carefully sourced clones from Burgundy with the help of the Oregon legislature, Oregon Governor and Oregon State University

On the Nose: Clone 667 holds a rich character profile of warm spices including star anise, black tea, nutmeg and bing cherry.

On the Palate: The 2012 vintage is a hailed year with a long extended summer allowing the grapes to fully ripen; creating intense fruit flavors, strong tannins and a full color extraction.

Food pairings: After cellaring over a decade this wine is drinking well now. Pair with savory dishes and grilled meats.
