Wine Purchasing and Shipping FAQs

We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions so you can shop online with ease. Not seeing your question on the list below? Give us a call (503) 588-9463 or email us at info@wvv.com

Where can you ship your wines?

Due to individual state laws, we have different limitations on where we can ship specific wines.

Willamette Valley Vineyards wines can be shipped to all U.S. states except: AR, DE, IN, MS, NH, NJ, RI, UT and WV. Limitations apply to: AL, LA and WY.

Maison Bleue and Pambrun wines can ONLY ship to: AK, CA, DC, FL, HI, KY, LA, MA, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, VA, WI and WY. Wines can be shipped to Washington or Idaho by phone order only. Please contact (509) 525-9084 to place your order.

Elton wines can ONLY ship to: AK, CA, DC, FL, HI, KY, LA, MA, MN, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SC, TN, WI and WY.

Can I pick up my online order at a tasting room?

Orders may be placed via phone call for pick up at a tasting room. Please call us at (503) 588-9463 and a member of our team will assist you.

Allow 48 hours between placing your order and picking up to ensure we have your order ready. Certain inventory is only available at our Estate in Turner, Oregon.

How can I prevent my wine from spoiling in transit during extreme weather?

In the summer, we have the option for FedEx Cold Chain shipping when shipping to hot locations. This will help protect your wine while in transit. Please indicate you would like this option upon checkout. Note: This option may add additional transit time but we highly recommend, as hot humid summer heat and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment.

Willamette Valley Vineyards may decide to hold ground shipments as necessary to protect your wine. You'll receive an email with tracking information when the wine is safe to ship. If weather is a concern in your area or if your order is time sensitive, we suggest selecting a 2-day or overnight option or in the summer months we offer a climate controlled option.

How do I select a wine online when I can't taste them?

Call our team or use the chat function on the bottom right corner of our website to speak with a Winery Ambassador about wine recommendations.

Do you offer any specials on shipping when purchasing multiple bottles or cases of wine?

Yes, we offer $15 flat-rate ground shipping on all wine orders over $250 after discounts are applied and complimentary UPS Ground Shipping on wine orders of $300 or more after discounts are applied to a single address in the continental United States. Plus, save 10% on 6+ bottles or 15% of 12+ bottles. If you are a Wine Club Member or Owner, you may use your 20% or 25% discount with the shipping special.

I just placed my order. When will it arrive?

Your order will ship in 1-2 business days after your order is processed. We do not offer same-day shipping.

UPS is our primary provider, on occasion we will use FedEx for weather-specialized delivery, which takes an additional day to process.

Should you select 2-3 day shipping, your wine still may not arrive until the following week (depending on the day the order was placed) as UPS does not deliver over the weekend.

Can I schedule my delivery?

Unfortunately, once your order leaves our warehouse it is on UPS or FedEx to fulfill it, and we cannot guarantee a specific time or date for delivery.

Will I need to sign for my wine when it arrives?

State law requires that the recipient of a wine order must be age 21 and up and sign for their order when it arrives.

Can I return my wine?

We guarantee our wines 100% and will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or doesn’t meet expectations — we want to make it right. We accept returned wines that follow our shipping guidelines.

Please send an email to info@wvv.com or call (800) 344-9463 to arrange the return or replacement.
