As part of our Oregon Estate Vineyards mission to dedicate boutique brands on some of Oregon's most intriguing vineyard sites, we created Elton to share the legacy of the vineyard founded by Dick and Betty O'Brien in 1983. Our Self-Rooted Pinot Noir is sourced from their original plantings.
Pale gold in color, the wine offers aromas of peach, pear, lemon creme and vanilla. Round and rich on the palate, flavors mirror aromas with the addition of lemon zest and minerality. Exceptional texture, movement and balancing acidity characterize the wine and invite another sip. This semi-sweet wine opens with vibrant aromatics of citrus, stone fruit and tropics that leap from the glass. The mouthfeel is juicy and luscious with bright acidity that activates the palate for beautiful movement and highlights flavors of peach, tangerine, pear and honeysuckle. The finish is wonderfully persistent with balance of sweetness and refreshing crispness.
