This estate vineyard is planted with Syrah, Grenache and Viognier and sits at the entrance of The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA, famous for a cobblestone terroir similar to the one in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France. The site features some of the largest stones in the appellation because it was in the center of the path of the Walla Walla River where the water moved swiftly and left these large deposits.

Deep purple in the glass. Notes of lavender, cigar box and bramble lead to classic Syrah aromas of blackberry, black currant and white pepper. Full-bodied and expressive, the palate reveals flavors of baking spice, leather and red currant, framed by youthful tannins that carry through to a lingering finish.
