Pambrun wines are inspired by the rich history of the Walla Walla Valley when Pierre and Kitty Pambrun operated the Nez Percés Trading Post for the Hudson's Bay Company in 1832 and Pierre became Walla Walla’s First Citizen, ushering in a time of peace and commerce in the Columbia Basin. Today, their fourth great-grandson Jim Bernau, inspired by his family’s heritage, has set out to grow and make elegant, terroir-driven wines from our estate and neighboring SeVein vineyards
On the Nose: Deep purple in the glass. Aromas of black and purple fruits give way to notes of bramble, candied plum, violet, dried blueberries and dark chocolate.
On the Palate: Inviting flavors of cinnamon, raspberry, ripe blackberry and licorice are complemented by fresh acidity for a lingering finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for many years.
Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled meats and savory dishes, lamb tagine, beef braised in red wine, creamy mushroom ragù and dark chocolate.

"The 2022 Malbec mixes crushed black cherries with minty herbs and sweet smoke. It's silken in feel, with depths of tart and black fruits that saturate. Iner violet and lavender tones resonate as the 2022 finishes structured and long, leaving black currant saturation that adds a chewy sensation."
