2021 Elton Pinot Noir
92 points - James Suckling
Sourced from old vine plantings at our Elton Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills founded in 1983 by Dick and Betty O'Brien, a former schoolteacher and Executive Director of the Santiam Girl Scouts.

On the Nose: Ruby in color, the wine expresses savory characteristics on the nose including dried herbs, minerality, red earth and wood spice.

On the Palate: Juicy and round, with Bing cherry, cranberry, raspberry and alluring spice that reaches a finale of balancing acidity and integrated tannins.

2021 Signature Cuvée Pinot Noir
91 points - James Suckling
An illustration of the art of blending, Signature Cuvée is our Winemaker's selection from the finest barrels sourced from our Estate, Elton and Tualatin. With site driven diversity, we are able to craft this wine to our precise and quality standards

On the Nose: Dark hues of garnet and ruby line the glass. Soft and alluring aromas of blackberry, dried cranberry, boysenberry and toasted oak greet the nose with an enticing profile.

On the Palate: Juicy notes of cherry, red currant, forest floor and cedar box develop from the wine's natural grape flavor and barrel regimen.

2020 Domaine Willamette Méthode Traditionnelle Brut Rosé
2020: 92 points - Owen Bargreen
Domaine Willamette is dedicated to producing the highest quality sparkling wines. Our Brut Rosé is crafted from estate-grown Pinot Noir using méthode traditionnelle where the wine goes through secondary fermentation in this bottle. It’s then aged on its lees for 18 months to develop complexity while preserving vibrancy before disgorgement.

On the Nose: A fresh and elegant sparkling rosé with soft pink and peach colors, a fine and persistent mousse and aromas of rose petal, persimmon and shortbread.

On the Palate: Delicate flavors of strawberry and honeydew with ample citrus notes are carried on the palate by a creamy texture, elegant structure, persistent length and balancing acidity for a zesty finish.

2022 Tualatin Estate Chardonnay
2022: 92 points - Owen Bargreen
Tualatin Estate Vineyard rests in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range and is one of the oldest plantings in Oregon, planted in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, and now in the newly approved Tualatin Hills AVA. The unique Laurelwood soil profile at the Tualatin Estate Vineyard contributes to the complex nature of the wines.

On the Nose: Soft tones of pale gold reflect light and clarity as the wine moves in your glass. Aromas of lily, golden apple, butterscotch and pastry crust provide an array of fruit and floral notes.

On the Palate: Cured lemon, honeycomb, vanilla and ginger spice create a diverse palate of sweet fruit and French oak flavors. Luxuriant and soft, the wine finishes with a rich and creamy texture.

Jim Bernau, Founder/Winegrower

WVV-Estate-Vineyards

Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate Vineyard in the Salem Hills
Willamette Valley AVA

In 1983, with the encouragement from winemakers making their move from California, Jim cleared an old pioneer plum orchard in the Salem Hills, hidden underneath scotch broom and blackberry vines to plant Pinot Noir. Unable to afford drip irrigation, he watered the vines by hand using 17 lengths of 75’ garden hose to get the grapelings through their first summer.

The vineyard site rises from 500-750 feet in elevation with seven to twelve degree slopes tilted toward the sun. As a result, the vines get excellent air drainage and are above the frost line. At this elevation and slope, the temperature is approximately 10 degrees cooler than the valley floor during the day.

The Estate Vineyard has a total of 67 acres of vines planted, with the first Dijon clones grafted in 1993. It is primarily planted with Pinot Noir Dijon clones 667, 777, Pommard and Wädenswil. Additionally, a portion is planted in Pinot Gris and Dijon Clone Chardonnay 76 and 96.

Founded in 1983 by Oregon native Jim Bernau with the dream of creating world-class Pinot Noir,
Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown from a bold idea into one of the region’s leading wineries, earning the title “One of America’s Great Pinot Noir Producers” from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
