​Pioneers of the Oregon wine industry, Don and Traute Moore began farming wine grapes in 1989. However, back then, no one knew what varieties were suited for the area, so the Moores began to experiment. Don and Traute studied growing techniques, consulted with the world’s finest viticulturists and began planting dozens of wine varietals, including those from Rhône and Bordeaux. What they discovered through careful site selection, was the ability to grow a “world of wine” in the Rogue Valley as varietals from varying origins flourished. Their site is now one of Oregon’s largest and highly regarded vineyards in the industry. ​This collection pays tribute to the bold wines grown in the Rogue Valley.

2019 Griffin Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark brick red color with a purple hues. Classic Cabernet characteristics, scents of black and red currants, anise, dry and fresh herbs (sage, lavender, tarragon) provide a beautiful beginning to this wine. Chocolate covered cranberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds offer a juicy appeal with warm spices and a savory black tea and umami finish.

2019 Griffin Creek Cabernet Franc
Savory scents of red fruits, anise, clove, tobacco leaf and hibiscus flower offer a complex nose. Featuring fine-grain tannins that enhance the texture of the wine and balancing acidity, the palate offers flavors that mirror aromas with the addition of bergamot tea and cedar.

2019 Griffin Creek Syrah
Abundant colors of purple and red detail the depth and weight of the wine. Enticing aromas of white pepper and leather shift to fruit notes of plum and blueberry compote. A warm palate of black currant and fresh cherry finishes with persistent tannins and notes of cacao and almond. The wine’s vibrant natural acidity is layered with lavish fruit flavors and minerality creating a lingering finish to this vintage.
