It's been 40 groundbreaking years since our Founder Jim Bernau planted an overgrown plum orchard in the Salem Hills with Pinot Noir vines in 1983, watering the vines with 17 lengths of 75 foot hose he bought on special. Since then, Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown to include vineyards in the AVAs of the Tualatin Hills, Walla Walla Valley, and Dundee Hills; as well as partnerships with winegrowers in the Rogue Valley.
Oregon Wine Month is the official time to honor accomplishments throughout the Oregon wine industry, we'll be celebrating with a special six-bottle collection of wines from all of our Estate Vineyards and partner vineyards.

Tualatin Estate Vineyard rests in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range and is one of the oldest plantings in Oregon, planted in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, and now in the newly approved Tualatin Hills AVA.
2021 Bernau Block Chardonnay
Made with Dijon clones planted 20 years ago that were sourced in Burgundy, France, before being quarantined at Oregon State University and propagated for use in Oregon vineyards.

Sourced from our sustainably-farmed Elton and Tualatin Estate Vineyards, this is a perfect summer sipper.
2019 Griffin Creek Syrah
For more than two decades we have been working with the Moore family, dedicated growers crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1996. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
