2023 Tualatin Estate Chardonnay

2023 Tualatin Estate Chardonnay

Tualatin Estate Vineyard rests in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range and is one of the oldest plantings in Oregon, planted in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, and now in the newly approved Tualatin Hills AVA. The unique Laurelwood soil profile at the Tualatin Estate Vineyard contributes to the complex nature of the wines.

On the Nose: Pale gold in color, the wine has elegant aromas of honeysuckle, mango, vanilla bean, pastry cream and nectarine.

On the Palate: The full-bodied wine offers flavors of white peach, cantaloupe and blanched almond. The juicy fruit notes benefit from the influence of traditional, barrel-aged winemaking to create a well-balanced wine..

Food Pairings: Enjoy with fall-inspired soups, cream-based pasta, wild game, crostini with jam and soft cheeses.

Tualatin Estate Vineyard
Tualatin Hills AVA

Tualatin Estate Vineyard, established in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, is one of the oldest and most respected vineyard sites in Oregon. Covered in Laurelwood soil and Pisolites, the slope is south-facing with an elevation of 250-530 feet. Wine grapes from this 171-acre vineyard have produced world-renowned wines for more than 45 years. Tualatin is the only vineyard to have won the Best of Show for both the red and white categories at the London International Wine Competition in the same year. This is a feat unduplicated by any Oregon winery. Tualatin Estate Vineyard is proudly owned through a merger with Willamette Valley Vineyards accomplished in 1997.
