2019 Hannah Pinot Noir

— Wine Club & Owner Exclusive —

Named after the owner’s daughter, Hannah Vineyard is adjacent to our Tualatin Estate Vineyard in the foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range and is protected by a rain shadow, making it warmer than the rest of the Willamette Valley.

On the Nose: Forest floor, damp earth, cardamon and mountain strawberry aromatics are some of the highlights coming from the glass.

On the Palate: Tastes of dried herbs, sage, thyme, Rainier cherries and pluots are layered across a textural complexity.

Food Pairing: Duck confit with cherry marmalade, pumpkin ravioli in a sage olive oil.

Peak Drinkability: 2021-2027

Tualatin Estate Vineyard
Tualatin Hills AVA

Tualatin Estate Vineyard, established in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, is one of the oldest and most respected vineyard sites in Oregon. Covered in Laurelwood soil and Pisolites, the slope is south-facing with an elevation of 250-530 feet. Wine grapes from this 171-acre vineyard have produced world-renowned wines for more than 45 years. Tualatin is the only vineyard to have won the Best of Show for both the red and white categories at the London International Wine Competition in the same year. This is a feat unduplicated by any Oregon winery. Tualatin Estate Vineyard is proudly owned through a merger with Willamette Valley Vineyards accomplished in 1997.

Founded in 1983 by Oregon native Jim Bernau with the dream of creating world-class Pinot Noir,
Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown from a bold idea into one of the region’s leading wineries, earning the title “One of America’s Great Pinot Noir Producers” from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
