2019 Griffin Creek Syrah

For more than two decades we have been working with the Moore family, dedicated growers crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1996. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.

On  the Nose: Abundant colors of purple and red detail the depth and weight of the wine. Enticing aromas of white pepper and leather shift to fruit notes of plum and blueberry compote.

On the Palate: A warm palate of black currant and fresh cherry finishes with persistent tannins and notes of cacao and almond. The wine’s vibrant natural acidity is layered with lavish fruit flavors and minerality creating a lingering finish to this vintage.

Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled meats like seven spice lamb chops, flank steak, fig and arugula pizza, creamy mushroom pizza and dark chocolate torte.
