On the Nose: Deep and alluring, the wine opens with an expressive bouquet of spices that then flows into dark fruit flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, black cherry.

On the Palate: The palate is rich and concentrated, especially for the vintage, with flavors mirroring aromas with the addition of florals and minerality all framed by plush, seamless tannins, a strikingly silky texture and balancing acidity.

Food Pairings: Filet mignon, five spice lamb lollipops, coq a vin, wild mushroom terrine and french onion soup.
