Domaine Willamette is dedicated to producing the highest quality sparkling wines. Our Brut is crafted from estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay using méthode traditionnelle where the wine goes through secondary fermentation in this bottle. It’s then aged on its lees for 30 months to develop complexity while preserving vibrancy before disgorgement.
On the Nose: Fine bubbles elevate an appealing bouquet of juicy pear, orange marmalade, white peach, toasted brioche, macadamia nuts and salinity.
On the Palate: Attractive apple, lemon and jasmine notes meld seamlessly with shortbread flavors gained from the extended sur lie aging. The creamy and elegant structure combined with bright acidity carry these flavors through the graceful finish.
Food Pairings: Enjoy with a celebratory toast or at the start of the meal. The wine is also particularly well-suited for seafood dishes like sashimi, oysters, delicate scallops or crab or salty, smoked, creamy or nutty foods like fried calamari, truffle popcorn, pomme frites, smoked salmon, creamy risotto, caesar salad and soft cheeses.

Bernau Estate Vineyard
Dundee Hills AVA
Named in honor of Founder Jim Bernau, Bernau Estate Vineyard is located in the Dundee Hills and the future home to our Méthode Champenoise sparkling wine facility, set to open in 2022. The vines at Bernau Estate Vineyard are farmed using biodynamic techniques, with plans to apply for a Demeter certification in 2022. Biodynamic farming uses sustainable, organic practices, including composting and the use of special preparations, to holistically promote the soil's long-term health.
The vineyard has a very gentle south west facing slope and mostly Woodburn soils, which are deep, nutrient rich and well drained soils. The original 15 acres of Pinot Noir was planted in 1994 and in 2019 we added 9 acres of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
