For more than two decades we have been working with growers Don and Traute Moore, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1989. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
On the Nose: Aromas of chocolate covered blueberries, cherry cordial and raspberry jam emerge from the glass.
On the Palate: The wine is succulent with a medium-bodied palate, vibrant acidity, soft finish and offering flavors of tart red cherries, dried herbs, anise and caramel.
Food Pairings: Smoked or barbecued meats, pork or duck cassoulet, chile-rubbed flank steak, paella with chorizo and tomato-based pasta dishes.
