‚ÄčThis library selection was sourced exclusively from 15 acres of Pinot Noir from the first plantings at the Estate Vineyard, Founder Jim Bernau planted these vines using a Christmas tree planter pulled behind his 33 horsepower tractor. He grafted the French clones 667 and 777 on a portion of the vines when they became available.

The 2009 vintage was marked by a warm growing season producing exceptional wines with very well developed and concentrated fruit flavors with lively, bright acidity balance.

92 points - Wine & Spirits

On the Nose:
This gracefully aged wine opens with earthy aromas and lighter notes of red fruit, cedar wood and rose petal.

On the Palate: The sip is mildly tropical leading into sweet flavors of baking cocoa, black currant and raspberry with a hint of tobacco. The medium-bodied mouthfeel is balanced with light, silky tannins. The fruit-filled flavors seamlessly surrender to a lingering finish that dances on your tongue.

NOTE: This wine is available for shipping and pick-up at the Estate only. Please call to arrange pick-up at our McMinnville or Tualatin Estate Tasting Room, if desired.
