The unique Laurelwood soil profile at the Tualatin Estate Vineyard, planted in 1973 by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller, contributes to the complex nature of the wines.
On the Nose: The wine presents soft yellow tones showing a light influence of French oak lending to aromas of marzipan, toffee, honeysuckle and cardamom.
On the Palate: Lemon meringue, tropical fruits and warm barrel spice gather on the palate. The mélange of fruit flavors balances with the bright acidity and rich mouth feel.
Food Pairings: Pair with savory dishes such as lobster bisque, macadamia nut-crusted halibut or clam linguine. Recipes like mushroom risotto, chicken pot pie, fall soups and creamy cheeses balance with the brightness of the wine.
