This library selection was sourced exclusively from 15 acres of Pinot Noir from the first plantings at the Estate Vineyard, Founder Jim Bernau planted these vines using a Christmas tree planter pulled behind his 33 horsepower tractor. He grafted the French clones 667 and 777 on a portion of the vines when they became available.
The 2009 vintage was marked by a warm growing season producing exceptional wines with very well developed and concentrated fruit flavors with lively, bright acidity balance.
For nearly two decades we have been working with growers, Don and Traute Moore, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhone regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
The 2010 vintage was marked by a long, cool and late growing season producing exceptional wines with bright, concentrated flavors, balanced fruit and bold aromas. The wines coming out of this vintage had balanced acidity and lower alcohol levels delivering fantastic ageability.
Limited production and made only in the best vintages that highlight the stylistic vision for a classic Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Sourced exclusively from the Tualatin Estate Vineyard and pays homage to Oregon wine pioneer, Bill Fuller who founded Tualatin Estate in 1973. This Pinot Noir is unfiltered and unrefined with spicy and robust tannins.
Sourced from Quail Run Vineyards in Southern Oregon, owned by dedicated growers Don and Traute Moore who are known for being Southern Oregon’s most celebrated producer of premium wine grapes.
The 2011 vintage was dominated by a cool and late growing season, but the wines it produced have been superb. Concentrated fruit flavors are balanced with bold aromas while the acidity and lower alcohol levels insured ageability in the wine cellar.
