Celebrating Bill Fuller's milestone 45th vintage in Oregon, our 2018 Vintage 45 Pinot Noir is crafted by Bill from his favorite blocks at Tualatin Estate Vineyard using his traditional techniques.
As one of Oregon’s early winemakers, Bill planted Tualatin Vineyards in 1973 and is recognized for many firsts in our industry, including making the first Oregon wine to be named to the Wine Spectator Top 100 List for his 1989 Chardonnay. Continuing to inspire us, Bill is still making wine at age 83!
Rich garnet in color, the bouquet is striking with its power, offering notes of florals including violets and rose, fresh red cherries, raspberry puree and milk chocolate. The palate is concentrated and coating with a silky texture offering energetic dark fruit and wood spice notes. The finish is long-lived with integrated tannins.
Food Pairing: Grilled pork tenderloin with honey balsamic BBQ sauce, smokey glazed ham, stuffed acorn squash with sausage and herbs, creamy chicken and mushroom soup, and chicken marsala.
