This classic "Willamette Valley style" Chardonnay is sourced from our three Estate vineyards — the original planting by Founder Jim Bernau in the Salem Hills, Tualatin Estate planted by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller in the foothills of the Coastal Range and Elton planted by Dick and Betty O'Brien in the Eola-Amity Hills.
On the Nose: Gold in color, meyer lemon, orange blossom and vanilla custard fill the glass and are accented with notes of minerality.
On the Palate: The palate opens displaying great texture and focus, balancing acidity and complexity with flavors of pear, green apple, tropical coconut, hazelnut and supporting oak spice notes.
Food Pairings: Steamed mussels with saffron broth, shrimp and grits, grilled halibut with peach salsa, caesar salads, Oregon salmon cakes, lobster bisque and soft cheeses.
Peak Drinkability: 2020-2024.
