Join Jim Bernau, Founder and President of Willamette Valley Vineyards, and Joe Dobbes of Iterum Wines for an intimate Legacy Series Winemaker Dinner at The Cozy Taberna on Thursday, May 21st at 6 pm in Salem.

Jim and Joe are reuniting to reflect on Oregon's wine industry, their shared history and 80 collective years of winemaking. Joe served as the head winemaker at Willamette Valley Vineyards nearly three decades ago, before launching Dobbes Family Estate.

As part of this special evening, you'll enjoy a selection of library wines hand-picked from Joe's personal cellar and Jim's wine library.

Cozy Taberna's Executive Chef Chris Robertson and Willamette Valley Vineyards Wine & Culinary Director DJ MacIntyre are creating a seven-course menu to pair with the wines (menu details to come at a later date).

Reservations are $250 per person and include a signed wine bottle. Seating is limited to 20 guests. This experience is deeply personal, intentionally small and designed for those who value what’s in the glass and the story behind it.

Tucked away in Electric Alley, Cozy Taberna's inviting atmosphere, world-class dishes, top-notch beverages and friendly staff come together to offer an exceptional dining experience.

Founded in 1983 by Oregon native Jim Bernau with the dream of creating world-class Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown from a bold idea into one of the region’s leading wineries, earning the title “One of America’s Great Pinot Noir Producers” from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
