About the wines:
Our Pambrun wines honor the story and heritage of Founder & President Jim Bernau's ancestors, Pierre and Kitty Pambrun, who operated the Nez Percés Trading Post for the Hudson's Bay Company in 1832. Pierre became Walla Walla’s First Citizen, ushering in a time of peace and commerce in the Columbia Basin.
2021 Pambrun Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley
Tasting Notes: Crimson in the glass, the wine shines with alluring aromatics of crushed herbs, black currant and red clay. The French oak barrels add flavors of toasted oak, dark chocolate and fresh espresso. Time in the barrel creates a fruit-forward finish with lively tannins and the potential to age this bottle for years to come.
2021 Pambrun Chrysologue, Walla Walla Valley
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot
Tasting Notes: This Bordeaux-style blend offers a layered nose of currant, black cherry, cola, cassis and caramel. The palate is characterized by powerful, structured tannins, balancing acidity and concentration that indicate age-worthiness, and flavors of dark fruit including plum and boysenberry, graphite, bergamot, dark chocolate and florals.
2021 Pambrun Merlot, Walla Walla Valley
Tasting Notes: The wine offers soft aromas of pistachio, crème de cassis, boysenberry and herbs de Provence. The palate allures with flavors of loganberry, cherry liqueur, cedar spice and coffee. Balanced acidity and French oak barrel notes create a profile of opulence and fresh red fruit flavors.
