2024 Griffin Creek Viognier
Griffin Creek wines come from the meticulously farmed Quail Run Vineyards in Oregon’s Rogue Valley, where a mix of established and experimental grape clones are grown at low yields for quality. The Moore family has stewarded these vineyards since 1989, partnering with Willamette Valley Vineyards since 1996. With a climate similar to France’s Bordeaux and Rhône regions, the Rogue Valley is an emerging force in Oregon wine.
On the Nose: Brilliant pale lemon in the glass, the wine offers a pronounced aromatic profile of sugared lemon, honeysuckle and ripe apricot.
On the Palate: Citrus and pineapple notes on the palate are lightly accented by baking spice, marmalade and toasted hazelnuts.
Food pairings: Enjoy with chicken or briny dishes, such as Indian butter chicken or Vietnamese shredded chicken salad, as well as soft cheeses.
Peak Drinkability: 2025 - 2029
