2022 Griffin Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
For more than two decades we have been working with growers the Moore family, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1989. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
On the Nose: Aromas of red fruits, dried sage, black cherry, strawberry and baking spice on the nose.
On the Palate: The wine carries a balanced profile of fruit and barrel, showing flavors of red currant, raspberry and tobacco over a medium body and fresh acidity. This wine can age for many vintages and will develop over time.
Food Pairing: Food Pairing: Prosciutto flatbread with fig and gorgonzola, creamy basil with Calabrian chili on cavatelli pasta and molten dark chocolate cake.
