2025 Gruner Veltliner
The Grüner Veltliner is an Austrian style varietal and was grafted on the first vines planted by the O’Briens at the Elton Vineyard. It is one of the smallest blocks of vines among our plantings. This refreshingly crisp white is known for its flexible pairings and medium body with a zesty finish..
On the Nose: Brilliant lemon in color, with fresh, pronounced aromas of grapefruit, lemon curd, gooseberry, wet stone, white pepper and bergamot.
On the Palate: Light-bodied with high acidity and a balanced, fruity palate of ripe green apple, pear and citrus.
Food Pairings: Enjoy with spicy Asian dishes like Thai green curry and seafood dishes such as shrimp tacos and ceviche.
