NEW! 2022 Elton Pinot Noir

Sourced from old vine plantings at our Elton Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills founded in 1983 by Dick and Betty O'Brien, a former schoolteacher and Executive Director of the Santiam Girl Scouts

91 points - Paul Gregutt

The fruit is sourced from a small five-acre single block within Elton Vineyard.

Made exclusively from a single block at Elton Vineyard planted in 2000 and named New Century Block, this block features tighter vine spacing creating competition among the vines to create small yields of high-quality Pinot Noir.

As part of our Oregon mission to dedicate boutique brands on some of Oregon's most intriguing vineyard sites, we created Elton to share the legacy of the vineyard founded by Dick and Betty O'Brien in 1983. Our Self-Rooted Pinot Noir is sourced from their plantings.

The vineyard is planted in deep volcanic Jory soils on east slopes that benefit from gentle morning sun in the Eola Hills. The wine is named in honor of Elton and Peggy Ingram, who reestablished the homestead farm in the 1950s, and was made exclusively as an on-premise offering. The vineyard is planted with 667, 777, 943 and Pommard Pinot Noir clones.
