2024 Ingram Pinot Noir
The vineyard is planted in deep volcanic Jory soils on east slopes that benefit from gentle morning sun in the Eola Hills. The wine is named in honor of Elton and Peggy Ingram, who reestablished the homestead farm in the 1950s, and was made exclusively as an on-premise offering. The vineyard is planted with 667, 777, 943 and Pommard Pinot Noir clones.
On the Nose: Dark ruby red in color with classic aromas of warm baking spices of star anise, brown sugar and vanilla; followed by sweet notes of black cherry and boysenberry.
On the Palate: Flavors of ripe cranberry, black tea, and dried herbs on the palate create a balanced Pinot Noir with aromatic intensity and flavor longevity.
Food pairings: Enjoy with savory sauces like duck à l'orange, creamy sausage pelmeni (Russian dumplings), mushroom risotto and medium cheeses.
