2021 Maison Bleue Voyageur Syrah
The name translates to "traveler." Legend says that when these French fur trappers first looked down from the Blue Mountains upon the fair fertile valley, they exclaimed, "voila, voila!" (behold, behold!) and were transfixed. This Walla Walla Valley Syrah blend features fruit from some of the most sought-after vineyards in the valley
Rich hues of plum and purple in the glass. The wine opens with subtle violet aromas and settles into dense blackberry and leather. An enticing palate of fig jam, balsamic and black olive creates a tasting silhouette that is both savory and sweet. This wine is from The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, known for cobblestone terroir contouring the taste with heavy viscosity and powerful fruit flavors. The wine pairs well with savory and spicy foods.
