2020 Pambrun Chrysologue

Our Pambrun wines are inspired by the rich history of the Walla Walla Valley when Pierre and Kitty Pambrun operated the Nez Perce Trading Post for the Hudson's Bay Company in 1832 and Pierre became Walla Walla’s First Citizen.

On the Nose: Our Cabernet-dominant, Bordeaux-style blend offers a complex nose of balanced fruit, terroir and barrel notes. This wine uses warm-climate grapes from the premier area of the Walla Walla Valley. The deep red hues of the wine lend to aromas of black currant, spice, olive and leather.

On the Palate: The composition of the wine balances distinct flavors of cherry torte, vanilla and hazelnut in relation to the barrel notes of cigar box, leather and spice. As you sip the wine you are left with a smooth palate and lingering tannins.

Food Pairings: Rosemary roasted lamb chops, wild game, roasted duck and rich, tangy cheeses.
