2022 Griffin Creek Tempranillo

Our Griffin Creek wines, sourced from Quail Run Vineyards in the Rogue Valley, were first planted by the late Don and Traute Moore and are operated today by their son, Michael Moore. Quail Run is known as Southern Oregon’s most celebrated producer of premium wine grapes. 

On the Nose: Bright purple in the glass, the wine expresses fragrant aromas of boysenberries, cranberries, dried cherries, dark chocolate and tobacco.

On the Palate: The palate offers flavors of red plums, graphite, cola, black pepper and potpourri. With a balanced, medium body and tannins, the wine's fresh acidity allows it to be cellared for years to come.

Food Pairing: Enjoy with classic meat dishes like duck à l'orange or roasted venison with cranberries and a red wine jus.
