2021 Griffin Creek Syrah

Pioneers of the Oregon wine industry, the Moore family has been cultivating vines at Quail Run Vineyards in the Rogue Valley since 1989, growing varietals from all over the world.

On  the Nose: Deep magenta purple, the wine offers an alluring bouquet of lilac, blackberry jam, star anise and tobacco along with classic notes of white pepper and cinnamon.

On the Palate: The tannins blend with flavors of leather, blackberry and cherry cordial for a delightful intensity that will develop in complexity as the wine matures.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with grilled meats, such as lamb shanks and spicy blackened chicken, or with creamy Gorgonzola and black olive pasta.
