Shades of Pinot: Classic Pinot Noir

Terry Culton, Director of Winemaking & Vineyards, shares his winemaking methods for our classic Oregon Pinot Noir wines.

Terry’s Notes

• Our Pinot Noir is sourced from vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley, including over 500 acres of estate vineyards.

• The result is wines that can be vineyard or even block-specific when they’re released from the cellar.

• Traditional Pinot Noir ferments for 14 to 28 days for optimal color and tannin extraction before resting in the barrel for 10 to 18 months.
