2018 Frontière Syrah

Aromas and flavors of blackberry and fresh cut florals flow into savory notes of black olive, ground herbs, smoked meat, iodine and sun-baked earth. On the palate, there is a marked sense of restraint given the power and complexity of this wine with coating richness, fine-grained refined tannins and persistence long beyond the sip. 

A single-vineyard Syrah from the Funk Estate Vineyard, one of the warmer sites in The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater. Only 149 cases produced.

This wine is drinkable upon release, but will gracefully age for the next 10 - 15 years.
