Sourced from old vine plantings at our Elton Vineyard, founded in 1983 by Dick and Betty O’Brien, on the east-southeast slopes of the Eola-Amity Hills.
On the Nose: Deep ruby red color, aromatics of blue and red fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, and Santa Rosa plums.
On the Palate: Red earth/clay minerality that gives the wine a tremendous spice and focus as the flavors drive along. Warmth is provided in each sip you take that reminds you of the first Fall days of the year.
Food Pairings: Honey baked ham with grilled plums and figs, Pad Thai with bacon and assortment of seasonal vegetables.
Peak Drinkability: 2021-2029
