The Grüner Veltliner is an Austrian style varietal and was grafted on the first vines planted by the O’Briens at the Elton Vineyard. It is one of the smallest blocks of vines among our plantings. This refreshingly crisp white is known for its flexible pairings and medium body with a zesty finish.

On the Nose: Pale lemon in color, the wine opens with aromas of yuzu, Asian pear, lime zest and white pepper.

On the Palate: Flavors of white peach, cherry blossoms, honeydew and green papaya create a sweetly delicate palate. The wine concludes with pleasant acidity and a lasting finish.

Food Pairings: This wine pairs well with zesty dishes, including green salads with tart vinaigrette dressings, lemon orzo pasta salad and Thai green curry.
