2021 Griffin Creek Viognier
Our Griffin Creek wines are sourced from Quail Run Vineyards in the Rogue Valley, owned by the Moore family and known for being Southern Oregon’s most celebrated producer of premium wine grapes. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
On the Nose: Translucent colors of pale yellow shift in the glass with vivid clarity. Delicate aromas of honeydew, poached pear and elderflower are gently complimented by jicama and cardamom.
On the Palate: Soft stone fruit and pineapple flavors balance with a subtle hint of ginger and tangerine. The wine presents with sweet aromas, fresh flavors and a lingering finish.
Food Pairings: Enjoy our Viognier with savory, spicy and aromatic dishes. Serve it with rich seafood recipes like scallops, shellfish and grilled halibut, Asian dishes like harissa chicken and hearty salads like farro with arugula, apricots, walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette.

Pioneers of the Oregon wine industry, Don and Traute Moore have been cultivating vines at their Quail Run Vineyards in the Rogue Valley since 1989, growing varietals from all over the world. What they discovered through careful site selection and temperatures similar to France’s Bordeaux or Rhône regions was the ability to grow a “world of wine” in the Rogue Valley as the varietals flourished. Their site is now one of Oregon’s largest and highly regarded vineyards in the industry.
Quail Run Vineyards is LIVE Certified and collaborate closely with universities on multiple experiments to improve grape quality, improve soils and pest management practices.
Shortly after partnering with Quail Run Vineyards to make our first vintage in 1996,
our Griffin Creek Merlot was named “Best Red Wine in Oregon” by Wine Spectator.
