2020 Pambrun Cabernet Sauvignon

Our Pambrun wines are inspired by the rich history of the Walla Walla Valley when Pierre and Kitty Pambrun operated the Nez Perce Trading Post for the Hudson's Bay Company in 1832 and Pierre became Walla Walla’s First Citizen.

On the Nose: The velvety red color of the wine indicates a warm vintage, careful selection of grapes and diligent extraction during the fermentation process. A pleasant mix of sweet and spice aromas originating from the fruit and barrel include cherry, nutmeg, cinnamon and black olive.

On the Palate: The balanced weight of the wine is felt on the palate with great tannin structure and alluring flavors. You may taste black cherry, pomegranate molasses, white pepper and capsicum framing an excellent red wine with bright red fruit and rich barrel notes.

Food Pairings: Braised beef short ribs, filet mignon with roast peppercorn, lamb and winter vegetable stew.
