2017 WVV Elton Pinot Noir

2017 WVV Elton Pinot Noir

90 points - Wine Enthusiast
93 points - Vinous

Sourced from old vine plantings at our Elton Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills founded in 1983 by Dick and Betty O'Brien, a former schoolteacher and Executive Director of the Santiam Girl Scouts.

Tasting Notes: Ruby in color, the bouquet features notes of red and black fruits, minerality, herbs and earth. On the palate, black cherry, currant, forest floor and roasted hazelnuts flow into a silky texture with seamless tannins creating an elegant sip.

Food Pairings: Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction, Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Grilled Steelhead, Duck Breast and Stuffed Mushrooms.

Peak Drinkability: 2020-2028
