Pioneers of the Oregon wine industry, Don and Traute Moore have been cultivating vines at their Quail Run Vineyards in the Rogue Valley since 1989, growing varietals from all over the world.
On the Nose: Garnet in color, the wine expresses aromas of blackberry, plum, black pepper and wood spice.
On the Palate: On the palate, fruit-forward juicy notes are accented by leather, smoke and game over a smooth and satin textured body, but with persistent tannins to hold up to bold dishes.
Food Pairings: Excellent with grilled meats like flank steak, braised wild boar pappardelle, bacon and blue cheese burgers and gourmet s’mores.
Peak Drinkability: 2020 - 2026.
