For more than two decades we have been working with growers Don and Traute Moore, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1989. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
On the Nose: Classic varietal aromas of plum, currant, dried herbs and woodspice fill the glass.
On the Palate: Expresses notes of blackberry, tobacco, anise and dark chocolate. The wine is medium-bodied with firm age-worthy tannins and balancing acidity for structure and a lingering finish carrying notes of vanilla and cedar far beyond the sip.
Food Pairings: Dry-aged wagyu steaks, salt-crusted prime rib, herb-roasted lamb shanks, mushroom lasagna and semi-hard cow or sheep’s milk cheeses.
