2016 Hannah Pinot Noir

2016 Hannah Pinot Noir

91 points - Vinous

Named after the owner's daughter, Hannah Vineyard is adjacent to our Tualatin Estate Vineyard in the foothills of the Coastal Mountain Range and is protected by a rain shadow making it warmer than the rest of the Willamette Valley. Garnet in color, blueberry, raspberry, floral and earthy aromas lead into an elegant, round palate with notes of red and black fruit, dried herbs, caramel and baking spices including cinnamon and clove. The wine carries a full-body, plush, seamless tannins, balancing acidity and a layered finish.

Food Pairings: Brined Pork Chop, Duck Breast with Pomegranate-Citrus Glaze, Roasted Mushrooms and Havarti cheeses.

Peak Drinkability: 2019 - 2026.
