For more than two decades we have been working with growers Don and Traute Moore, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards since 1989. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhône regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
On the Nose: Inky in the glass, the wine coats the bowl similarly to the palate and opens with aromas of plum, blackberry jam, chocolate-covered blueberries, vanilla and anise.
On the Palate: Full-bodied and packed with lush dark fruit, violets and sweet spices, it has chewy tannins and balancing acidity, finishing very long. Dense, bold and delicious.
Food Pairings: Not to be overshadowed by sweet and spicy barbecue sauces, enjoy with pork ribs, short ribs, brisket, burgers, flank steaks and stir-fries with Chinese plum sauce.
