2016 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

2016 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

Our 2016 AVA Pinot Noir Series represents the different areas within the Willamette Valley American Viticulture Area including Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, McMinnville, Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton. Made with the same winemaking techniques, these wines express the terroir of their unique vineyard sites.

A nose of the classic Dundee Hills red volcanic clay fills the glass leading to aromas of raspberry,  smokiness and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and offers juicy flavors of black cherry, vanilla, earthiness and minerality with a frame of fine-grain tannins and bright acidity.

Food Pairings: Smoked pork tenderloin, grilled tuna steak, duck and dishes featuring Oregon mushrooms and truffles.

Peak Drinkability: 2019 - 2026.
