Our 2015 AVA Pinot Noir Series represents the different areas within the Willamette Valley American Viticulture Area including Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, McMinnville, Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton. Made with the same winemaking techniques, these wines express the terroir of their unique vineyard sites.
The 2015 Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir is deep ruby in color, the nose opens with aromas of blue and black fruits, leather and tobacco. The opulent notes continue on the rich and full-bodied palate with the additions of dark chocolate, game and minerality. Structured with ripe, smooth tannins, yet balanced by lively acidity that provides finesse through its bold personality.
Food Pairings: Pair with seared duck breast with blackberries, prime rib, coq au vin, galettes and wood-fired flatbread with sausage and caramelized onions.
Peak Drinkability: 2018 - 2025.
