2010 Griffin Creek Tempranillo

​For nearly two decades we have been working with growers, Don and Traute Moore, crafting the highest-quality wines from their Rogue Valley vineyards. With temperatures similar to France's Bordeaux or Rhone regions, this area is an emerging Oregon region.
 
The 2010 vintage was marked by a long, cool and late growing season producing exceptional wines with bright, concentrated flavors, balanced fruit and bold aromas. The wines coming out of this vintage had balanced acidity and lower alcohol levels delivering fantastic ageability.

On the Nose: Intensely ruby in color with aromas of black currents, herbs, earthy loam, diesel and violets.

On the Palate: The smoky entry compliments flavors of plum and black olive. Bold and full-bodied on the palate with a robust tannin structure, this wine is a powerhouse in a vintage that didn’t easily lend to such substantial wines.
