This classic "Willamette Valley style" Chardonnay is sourced from our three Estate vineyards — the original planting by Founder Jim Bernau in the Salem Hills, Tualatin Estate planted by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller in the foothills of the Coastal Range and Elton planted by Dick and Betty O'Brien in the Eola-Amity Hills.
On the Nose: Pale gold in color, notes of lemon, sweet cream, brioche, vanilla and clove fill the glass.
On the Palate: The medium-bodied palate opens displaying a beautiful creamy texture and flavors including zest of lemon and lime, quince, honey and baking spice, all framed by refreshing acidity for a balanced and lingering finish.
Food Pairings: Bay scallops, steamed mussels with white wine and garlic, halibut with lemon and capers, chicken in creamy mustard sauce, crab ravioli, Oregon salmon cakes and soft cheeses.
