Expressing the terroir of our three estate vineyards — the original planting by Founder Jim Bernau in the Salem Hills, Tualatin Estate planted by Oregon wine pioneer Bill Fuller in the foothills of the Coastal Range and Elton Vineyard planted by Dick and Betty O'Brien in the Eola-Amity Hills.

On the Nose: Bright ruby in the glass, the wine exemplifies the classic "Willamette Valley style" with savory and fruit-forward aromas of potpourri, sage, red currant and raspberry.

On the Palate: The wine is medium-bodied on the palate and offers flavors of forest floor, licorice, orange peel and red cherry, concluding with fresh acidity and integrated tannins.

Food pairings: This wine will pair beautifully with traditional Pinot Noir dishes, including Oregon lamb, duck breast with fruit compote, chicken sausage with fennel and apples, cedar plank grilled salmon and aged cheeses.

Peak Drinkability: 2025 - 2032

"This estate vineyard deftly expresses the specific characteristics of the AVA, nestled in the west-facing foothills of the Coast Range. Aromatic and spicy, it’s a pretty wine showing wild raspberries, savory herbs and firm tannins. It comes to a sharp focus through a long finish, and should drink nicely over a decade or longer."
