Sales Manager
Bacchus Fine Wines is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow its Oregon sales team. The position requires at least 5 years successful wine sales management experience with a regional or national distributor. Bacchus Fine Wines is one of Oregon’s leading fine wine distributors representing wineries from around the world and the Riedel Company. Bacchus is the Sales Department of one of Oregon’s leading wineries, Willamette Valley Vineyards.
Essential Duties
- Recruit, hire, train and manage a team of sales representatives and support to develop, implement and achieve annual on and off premise placement and volume goals.
- Develop sales and pricing programming, drive account retention and development.
- Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field.
- Knowledge of and experience with key wine industry personnel, brand management and customer issues and needs.
- Minimum of five years experience selling premium and ultra wines and sales force management
- Team oriented sales professional with the ability to successfully work with minimal supervision.
- Superior organization, presentation, negotiation, team building and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills
