Sustainability on the Course

Water stations will be available on the course for runners and walkers. In an effort to remain as sustainable as possible throughout the race, we encourage runners and walkers to come with a water bottle, hydration pack or other hydration equipment. This will help reduce the use of paper and plastic cups.

Please note, though, that water cups will be available for those who need them on the course. Please work with volunteers and staff to ensure these are disposed of in a respectable manner.

Inherent Risks

Willamette Valley Vineyards is an active winery and vineyard. As a result, additional environmental factors exist including the possibility of exposure of pollen, bees and other allergens.

Spectator Information

Carpooling
Due to runners and walkers using the main drive of the winery, we encourage groups to carpool to reduce the total numbers of cars on the road around the winery.

Post-Race Wine
Once you cross the finish line, participants over the age of 21 are invited to enjoy a celebratory splash of wine and complimentary glass of some favorite Willamette Valley Vineyards wines. The winery will fully open at 11 am for guests to order additional bottles and food.

Pets & Strollers

While Willamette Valley Vineyards is happy to allow pets and strollers at the winery, pets and strollers should remain off the course. Pets must remained leashed and stay with a spectator.

We encourage children not able to take part in the full 5k run/walk to take part in our Kids 1K (1 kilometer distance) while accompanied by a parent or guardian.
